Has anyone got a picture of the fixings on the base of the elise seats? I've been asked a question on another forum if the Elise seats would fit in a "Ford Probe" If someone could post any pics it would be a great help. Also does anyone know the measurements between fixing points? From what I can make out it's approx 380mm between each bolt hole front to back and 390mm between each bolt hole left to right, can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance Derek

Ok so I've now had my Exige nearly 2 weeks... 1st week I have a rock hit the screen and crack it top to bottom Today i'm sat in traffic and I start to smell coolant, then steam starts coming up from the radiator. Manage to limp home (< 1 mile to go thankfully), park up and it starts p*ssiing out the front. First thought was just a hose come loose but after watching it fizzing and splurting I think the rad is cracked/split somewhere along the top edge. So now I have to get the AA out, trailer it to Pete Smiths, get a car sorted out for work etc. etc. Just sharing my pain! Just hope that something else doesn't pop up to make a full set of 3. Will be in to…

I am contemplating doing a little touring trip of france in early july in the liz. The idea rolling round in my head is to tour for about 16 nights, camping for 2 or 3 days, then a night in a hotel. The areas that i am intertested in are the Dordogne and possibly over as far as the french alps. Has anyone attempted a trip like this, and would like to give me any advice on campsites etc. As a taster we are already booked on the le mans trip Oh, and my french stretches as far as saying the pencil is on the table School french lessons were really helpful

Yes or No Discuss? my current view is NO. they serve no purpose apart from saying "i think ive got more money than you" what else do they do? i cant think of anything and dont get started on those pr1cks who buy an x5 then get a number plate "x5 gay" or "x5 cok" we know what it is? it says it about 3 inches away from your plate, yes three inches the same size as your p3nis. I've been trying to wire my Omex Shift Light in for ages now. It works intermitently, usually just for the first 10 mins of running the car. After ringing Omex, they said I'd probably need to wire into the distributor, as the signal from the stack is not strong enough to power it properly, which is the way it is wired at the moment. I had a look at the distributer on the car and couldnt work out where on earth I needed to connect the wire. Reffering to the attached diagram Would I be right in thinking that B is the hi-tension side. And that A would be the low-tension side, where I could take a feed for the shifter? If so, anyone know which of the three…

Just thought you may be interested in the following... I've been taking all my cars to the same garage for MOT's for about the last 10 years, so I know the owner pretty well and he knows me and my cars. Today I'd got both the Astra and Elise booked in for their MOT. I was a bit worried about taking the Elise due to it not having a cat (stuck in the garage with bolt studs that I can't shift) especially after he emission tested the Astra which was booked in first. Anyway, when it came to the Elise, there was no emissions test and so I got my nice certificate for another year! Why, I hear you ask? Well we got talking about the rules and regulations and he s…
