DerekC
Has anyone got a picture of the fixings on the base of the elise seats? I've been asked a question on another forum if the Elise seats would fit in a "Ford Probe" If someone could post any pics it would be a great help. Also does anyone know the measurements between fixing points? From what I can make out it's approx 380mm between each bolt hole front to back and 390mm between each bolt hole left to right, can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance Derek
lesstatt
Cant confirm but it really only takes 10 mins to get the seats out anyway, i had loads of bits rattling under the passenger one on mine when i got it, a few cd's and a broken numberplate as well
DerekC
The question arose because a guy in Sweden is stripping out a Ford Probe to make it as light as possible (for racing purposes) and wondered of the Elise seats would fit. He's been told each seat weighs 12kg which seems a little heavy to me. He'd seen this advert http://forum.zatzy.com/classifieds/showpro...=1&cat=5&page=1 I found a huge padlock rattling about under my seat, I just thought it was a normal Elise rattle until i removed it.
