Okay Not a fan of PS due to their rather high charges (£1080 for a C-service :lol ). But they are 2 miles from my house. Footwell corrosion repair needed and, given that it is warranty work, I don't give a damn about costs. Booked in for the work in a few weeks - just wondered whether anyone has had their's done there and, if so, what bthe repair was like? Cheers Simon

OK, I've dropped my S1 off with Horizon for its 'C' Service & New T1-R's (got a lift back with a friend). Mikes a nice guy, even hoiked an S1 up to show me the jacking points properly when I asked. I've got to go back this Saturday (9th April) to pick it up.. which is the nearest train station? is it Cradley Heath? I could ring Mike tomorrow, but its Sunday and I'm bored and want to get my train ticket now...

I'm toying with the idea of selling my elise. 2004 (54) 111S , saffron yellow, 8000 miles, sports exhaust, upgraded airbox The questions are... A) where do you all recommend selling?? ebay? pistonheads? Dont think i'll get that good a deal as part ex or direct sale back to a lotus dealership. what should I realistically expect to get for it??

Hello....My S2 is in need of an 'A' service and although Horizon seem to be the place to go I would like a main dealer stamp. Don't want to take it to my local dealer...so has anyone taken their car to Nick Whale for servicing? I've spoken to them in the past and found them very helpful. Cheers!

I had a thought last night when driving home from the snowdome in tamworth (no thought jokes please!) as anyone driving on that road will know theres loads of fixed gatso speed cameras.. Grrrrr! In some places theres two lanes in the same direction and only one camera on that side.. I didnt take a close look or anything but im sure there must be only one camera in that unit and how can it measure the distance on two seperate lanes? Theres the same type of camera down the road from me on a normal single lane street which only measures the one side of the road as the other side is going the opposite way! Plus if theres a lorry going on the outside closest …

I went to Horizon today, for the first time. My car was booked in for an A service, geo and 2 new tyres on the back. Mike and Wendy looked after us a treat- including ferrying us to Merry Hill and back while the car was being done. Everything about Horizon just gives you confidence that your car is in good hands. Mike and Wendy obviously really know their business, the premises are very clean and tidy. The car felt noticeably better when I drove it home, but obviously had to take it very steady due to the new tyres and the weather! I would definitely recommend Horizon to anyone considering where to get their next service done. Thanks again Mike and Wen…
