Anyone see it tonight? Just finished. Looks like this year should be good. a Pro-drive, Ferrari Modena and Morgan team from small UK teams alone. Can't beleive Morgan are racing again, though they finished last year. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Jamie, Congrats on Exige. We met at the Lotus discsussion evening when NW were at Digbeth and you had your 111s, anyway have follwed you thread about starter button, and had a look at NW demo car with one when I popped into see Ian yesterday. Can't seem to find any decent buttons in the catalogue but on Demon Tweeks website have come up with this: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue/pr...100&from=search Prseume from earlier thread that aluminium version with start text is may be the one to go for? Ian is also trying to tempt me with the Momo wheel when car is in for service next month.... must resist. Regards John

What is it with all the f-uckwits on the roads nowdays.. to get out of Coventry I have to drive allong several 30mph roads, which is nice as it gives me time to warm the engine before leaving coventry properly. But this morning I had to get the twat in his golf who feels the need to sit on my arse and mostly in the middle of the road looking to overtake all the way allong the road.. then he finally decides to go for it just as we get to the roundabout, where i want to FEKING TURN RIGHT.. and mr WANKER wants to turn left so I get squeezed against the pavement and then have to thrape it round him to turn right.. geeezus arrgh people are such twats.. grrrrrrrrr.. been fe…

A big thanks to Horizon Just got her back from having a 'B' Service and new front tyres. They got it done very quickly and also noticed a couple over faults that needed rectifying. All at a very decent price. You're great.

Greetings Lotus people! I shall be gracing these boards regularly as im about to become an owner of an S1 elise . So, I need your help!!! My BIIIG decision is should I buy the 111s or just go for the stock 118bhp K series? Ive researched into both models and Im aware the 111s has shorter ratios, diff engine blah blah 150bhp blah diff powerband/torque spread blah. However the gbox ratios are probably its main advantage over a 118bhp model. Honestly tho...Im thinking should I just buy a 118bhp and put in a 135 ratio box? Is the 111s extra 30 odd bhp really worth the extra cost of this model (not to mention insurance difference = 111s-£850, Stock118bhp-650). Forget pap…

Hi folks, After several years my wireless router has packed up and won't respond - something seemed to kill it last night and now it wont recognise when I plug anything into the upload port! I'm looking to replace it but don't know the best way to go. First to describe the system - I have 2 PC's and 2 Macs all with ethernet ports. Also have a PDA with WiFi. My current wireless router is ethernet only (from my days at uni ... oh the fast connection). I'm now on ADSL so had to buy a new (very cheap) router which took ADSL uplink and put out RJ45. This is in the bedroom with one long ethernet cable running round the house to where the computers are and plugs into the…

Just got the car back from PS in Hatton. Needed the Cat B repair (alu sheet bonded in place). Job looks very neat and the mats are fitted very well. Unfortunately the red mats now look shite on top of the black mats But good job all round - one day for the Cat B repair

Some of you will know I have a hankering for an Elan Sprint. Well, this beauty has appeared on Pistonheads: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=39903&s=10 Now, I was going to pay a lump sum off the mortgage next month but...... Is it really stupid to buy a car like this: without knowing much about them never having drove one with a price that looks too good to be true? Fiona

I painted my grills at the weekend with smooth hammerite (black of course) and they look great. The only problem being that I managed to push one of the rubber grommets into the bodywork as I was screwing one of the rear grills back in. Where can I get a new grommet from?

Unfortunately planned new 111r been put back for a while due to unplanned financial expenditure! Daz
