hi im lookin for my 1st lotus elise, im not sure if i can cope with one as my everyday car but after being taken for a ride in one i dont care, cant believe how they handled. ive seen a couple, one was a 111s v plate for 10grand, but had 64k miles on the clock, dont know whether to buy a standard elise with less miles and lose the performance or go for the 111s with high mileage. worried when i come to sell it on with 90k miles i will struggle to sell it

On Messenger, my mate is currently playing the song... "Perpetual Motion - Keep on Dancin (Scott Mac vs DJ Cams Mix)" Hmm...something you should be telling us? Side Note - MSN 7.0 is quite good, you can see what songs other people are playing...

Just had a call from Egg pretty much a year after my accident! Anyone unfamilier with what happend can find it HERE The outcome was that even though I had a witness who saw the motor bike overtaking her and accellerating as she approched the island, before ploughing into me, when I was already on the island, without even having time to brake. Egg saw fit to put all blame on me, even though the police couldnt find evidence to put blame on me, and even though Egg and the solicitor working on MY behalf didnt even bother to contact the above witness! Anyway, it turns out that the company who loaned me a hire car while my car was being bodged back together at the …

Well, its clearly the begining of the end for the TVR. Just bought a new daily driver... A Lotus Type 89 That means Tivver goes in the garage, and snuggles up to an older Lotus at night. Shall I use it for Le Mans - at least Castle Coombe's an option ? Does now mean the TVR Chimaera 450 will now be placed officially up for sale. So the madness plan is on it's way 1) Sort out daily banger 2) Sell TVR 3) Begin the long journey of finding my Esprit weekend car. Life is good. Bob

Just wondereing if anyone has any tips on cleaning the rag top? Unfortunately I don't have a garage so the elements get a good chance at things. Also does anyone use any waterproofing on there soft top? I know it says not to in the manual but my roof seems to let in the wet when sat in the rain a bit too much. I'm guessing a shower cape would help if its parked up and I know its gonna pee it down. Cheers Dunk. Did some searching around on the net and the daddy of all cleaners seems to be made by a company called Renovo. Have to say it looks pretty fly. Priced like rocking horse sh*t though. Check it out at Renovo Cleaner

Ladies and Gentleman! If any one is interested in MLOC sunstrips for the jaunt down to Le Mans Sign up here!! I'll also do some stickers for the back of the cars, and for people who are going through Car Limits, or if you just want a sticker! The sunstrips are waterproof and abrasion resistant within reason. They are also light resistant for around two years. I saw a few on cars several months later and they still looked in good condition. They should work out to around £30 inc a sticker. Although I have to work a final price out depending on Nº's etc. Here's some pics of the one's I did last year

Guys & Gals Thought you might be interested in the link below to Notts County Council's website and shows you where mobile speed cameras are planned to be located each week - bloody hell, there's a lot of them out there! http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/home/tra...peedcameras.htm I bet quite a lot of you will already use this or have a road angel or similar, but if you don't (and I didn't know about this site until this morning!) I hope it helps protect your license If you don't live in Notts, other CC's issue this kind of info? Happy driving Rich

Ok, under my Avatar I now have 5 blocks and the word "Veteran". I see some people have customised their text. Do I need to go up another level or something before I can do the same? Yes, it's Monday evening and I'm bored. Dan
