Hello All, Relatively new Lotus Exige S2 owner. I bought the car back in Decemeber and now the sunshine is out , I get to enjoy it a bit more. But there has been an engine warning light on for a while. Whilst this issue I have with the car has been there for a while now, I thought I would get it repaired as its still under warranty. My question is, where is best to take the car for a reliable repair ? I'd be needing a quote for the warranty company before going ahead with the work. I'm based in Warwick. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂 thanks in advance.

I don’t normally read Autocar as it seems to need more content that the car world can create , so just makes stuff up to fill space , a little like the BBC , but we won’t go there today !! but I did spot this image of a Julian Thompson , Callum design company imagined new all elective Elise , that has been created to house the batteries for a UK start up firm hoping to make lightweight powerful batteries with 155 mile range that can charge in 6 minutes . what do you guys think ? I don’t dislike the design , but looks heavy and hunkered down rather than light and on its toes , but I guess what ever happens the new Elise will be heavier , so might as wel…

Hi, Can I ask the more experienced/veterans of track days a couple of questions as I'm interested in taking my elise on a track day later in the year. So I do apologise if these sound like very dense questions but it may help other people who might have the same questions if they have never been.. 1. Do you use a different set of tyres for track events? 2. Do most of you have your own helmets or do you hire them. Which helmets would you recommend to buy? 3. Do other drivers allow for first timers who might be slower than usual? (If you have been in a mloc run with me, you will know I'm very cautious driving) 4. Has anyone utilised the pro…

Hi, I'm based in Sheffield and need a garage to get my 2008 Elise S looked at for what is probably a front suspension problem as well as an issue with movement in one of the windows. I would appreciate some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Spotted a lovely looking Emira Auto at Sturgate airfield on Friday, nice spec, black leather interior, yellow 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel which strangely is only an option on the Auto. It was not running on the straight so can not comment on the performance. Happy to say the 570 performed fantastic the launch control is breathtaking fast.

Hi, I have been to the Gold Cup several times where we have had a stand amongst various other clubs. Not been for about 3 or 4 years due to various reasons and Covid times. Just wondering if we were going this year and how I could get club stand tickets?

I was late to the party due to issues out of my control and cannot see any accommodation available although there's a camp site - Park House Campsite. Are many stopping there? I don't fancy driving up at 4am on Sunday morning 🤣 Cheers, Mark

The place where we went on an MLOC run somewhere NW peaks (?) when Oliver fell out of a tree and nearly knocked himself out landing on a dry stone wall ? We had a BBQ and refreshments, and it's also an animal sanctuary. Might have a pass-out for a sneaky weekend and Sonya & I always said we'd hope to go there.
