Code of Conduct for MLOC
1. Respect and Courtesy All members are expected to conduct themselves with the highest levels of respect and courtesy during any club-related activity, whether online or offline. This expectation extends to interactions with both fellow members and non-members. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all participants can enjoy their shared passion for cars without discrimination or discomfort.
2. Professional and Ethical Conduct Members must avoid any actions or behaviors that could potentially harm the reputation of the club or its operations. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from illegal activities, upholding the club's integrity, and avoiding any engagements that might reflect negatively on the club or its community.
3. Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community. As such, discrimination, harassment, or any other behavior that undermines the dignity or self-esteem of an individual will not be tolerated. This applies to but is not limited to discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or any other legally protected characteristic.
4. Enforcement of Code of Conduct Violations of these guidelines may result in actions taken by the administration team, including but not limited to warnings, suspension of membership privileges, or expulsion from the club, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
5. Reporting and Grievance Procedures Members are encouraged to report any incidents where they feel these principles have been breached. Reports can be made confidentially to the designated officers, and every complaint will be investigated thoroughly and impartially. We are committed to ensuring fairness and respect for all parties involved.

Nice simple question. Cracked windscreen. Bit of a snag. Can anyone recommend a windscreen replacement company in the Midlands region ( I am near Derby ) that is willing and able to tackle said job ? It’s a series 2 .

I'm trying to get organised for once!! My MOT and next service are due in the first couple of weeks in May so I want to get my car booked in somewhere early. I bought the car from Lotus Silverstone, so my gut is to take it to them as any issues that 'appear' might be covered under warranty and I'll also be in a slightly better position to negotiate rates on any work that does need doing!! A service quoted £368. MOT £75 (inc 0.2 hrs to take it to the test station!!) This leads me to the age-old problems of is it worth getting the work completed by a dealer just to get a LOTUS stamp in my service book. I could book the car in with a Lotus specialist like PJS o…

A late HNY all. I posted in here about a year ago to find a project Lotus car - remembering a good few suggestions from this group. I just really enjoy restoring cars to their former glory - and connecting to communities for advice / compare notes. After a lot of patience and holding my nerves, I’m finally collecting a Exige 430cup next week that’s not had the best start of life (but low mileage). Pictures to be posted once I collected. Hi to all the members I’ve just joined the group. recently I bought an Elise S2 which had an Audi Quattro 1.8 turbo fitted along with various upgrades to the engine etc. it also has a toad sterling alarm fitted, I bought it from a body shop it was sold as seen with no fob for the immobiliser etc so just wondering if the car and conversion rings a bell with any member I’ve removed both clams to repair them and am scratching my head looking at the wiring etc, so at the end of this lengthy bit I could do with finding out where the conversion was done or a garage that does this type of conversion, it is a black Elise S2 2003 with a private plate Eliset Many thanks

With the newish craze of what can only be described as the our sneaky lotus photos I’d though I’d have a little bash today whist tootling past a well know members house after his recent delivery of the new yellow peril 😆 not a bad attempt but I’m sure there are better out there? Did have one thought though, could make for quite an entertaining 2025 MLOC Callander! Please feel free to share your attempts.

Like drinking red wine, wearing slippers, getting gout etc, I always thought that one day I might end up in a Morgan! It started with my winning/buying a day in an Emira at LitP a couple of years ago, kindly donated for auction by Central Lotus for our Rainbows charity.
