hartleyj
Hi. I am planning a road trip into north west wales early next year for a few mates, and whilst picking the roads isn't difficult, I could do with some recommendations for cafes, lunch stops etc. Route is coming together as follows: From Conwy, Betws-y-Coed, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Trawsfynydd, Bala, Evo Triangle, and back to Conwy. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks Hartley

Phil Hutchins
Bodnant Welsh Food centre, on the A470 Conway to Betws. (NB On main road, not NT Bodnant Gardens). Choice of a restaurant, a cafe/tearoom and a coffee bar, plus a farm shop for some take-home goodies!

ethbk
Hi Hartley. Drop me a pm closer to the time I have loads of suggestions for you. We have a little caravan tucked away near to snowden and go to lots of great little places like the Caban Caffi at the end of Padarn lake, great stop off point after a run through llanberis pass., I might even be around to tag along .
