    Need Your Help

111R I've had mine from new since 2006. It's been incredibly reliable (holds breath!) with very little apart from routine maintenance. Disks, pads, remote control unit and routine servicing has been the sum total over 61,000 miles. I am currently mulling over moving on to a 220 Sport, only because of the extra low down torque. If you do look at a 111R, the sport chip upgrade (circa £400) blends the transition to the second cam much more smoothly than the standard version. I expect most will have had this done by now.. The values seem to be on the up, but I expect your budget will put you in a good one. Happy hunting!
  2. Only known Gav for 2 years, so I have obviously got a long wait for a cuppa then... Mind you a young lady did come along one day I was there and asked me if I wanted an ice cream, so I guess that will have to count then!
  3. Yes, but garages in Wirksworth are about as scarce as Rocking Horse sh1t!
  4. I visited before Xmas, as said there was an interesting selection of cars there. Very busy. Good venue.
  5. Dean You know I have the ultimate respect for everything you have done for MLOC over the years, tireless effort and supreme execution. LitP has always been a bastion of excellence, delivery and more importantly enjoyment. Dependability in a word. But what's happened this year? After years of being able to plan with 100% certainty this year is a big let down, I'm sorry to have to say. How come LitP 2019 doesn't clash with Wimbledon like it has in every other year I can remember? Ha Ha got you going there! 😂 So yes, I'm happy to lend a hand, Matlock Bath end suits me best as its just down the road. Let me know what you need. Hartley
  6. I had what I believed to be Xpel Ultimate applied to the whole front clam 2 1/2 years ago following a front end respray (dratted stonechips!). The film cost more than the respray, but I was reassured that the film was 'self healing' and one of the best. So 2 1/2 years later the front end is in good condition and I'm pleased with it. Then last weekend at Autosport International I got chatting to the Northern Regional Manager of Xpel and he told me that they do not supply their film to the people who applied it to my car. So the lesson is to get written assurances that the film is what the installer says it is. It's impossible to tell if you are not qualified - film looks like film when it is applied. if anyone wants the contact details for the Xpel RM then PM me. He will gladly provide details of their accredited installers.
  7. How many track days can I manage to do this year?

  8. Decided it was time to get to know a few local owners. Based near Ashbourne. Hi All!
