Where for repairs?

Hello All,

Relatively new Lotus Exige S2 owner.

I bought the car back in Decemeber and now the sunshine is out , I get to enjoy it a bit more. But there has been an engine warning light on for a while.

Whilst this issue I have with the car has been there for a while now, I thought I would get it repaired as its still under warranty.

My question is, where is best to take the car for a reliable repair ? I'd be needing a quote for the warranty company before going ahead with the work. I'm based in Warwick.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂 thanks in advance.

Have a look at what the warranty covers first especially if there is a limit on hourly rates as that may rule main dealers out potentially.

Lotus Silverstone for a Lotus site wouldn’t bother with rybrook at Solihull as the car is too old for them as they are a new dealer.

Specialists you’ve got Dan @ HPE who is a good chap knows his way around the cars and is meticulous.

Depends on how far you want to travel.

Oh and congratulations on the purchase, you’re just up the road from me so maybe see you at some of the Warwickshire events at some point.

Another shout for Steve Guglielmi.  HPE (Dan Webster) will doubtless be as good (I need to get to him soon for engine mapping).  Also in Burton is Gav (Unit 4 Vehicle Service.  Ex-Lotus dealership workshop mechanic).
