Looks like C&M may be interested in setting up a Midlands location in Knockerdown near Ashbourne. This is purely based on speculation from their companies house pages and Internet gossip. Be good to have a similar site local as it's a long boring run down to the main site. There will be people for and against this and C&M in general...

Well almost! I bought this little honey today from JCT600 up in Bradford. It's a 2019 stunner with just 1,900 miles on the clock, and is literally in brand new condition, both inside and out. Also had a long test drive to confirm that everything is in full health and.... the verdict is - oooooh yes, most definitely! Should actually take delivery next week once the Lotus Approved bits and pieces have been completed. Can't wait 😍.

VF69 HFH It's on an Elise 220 Sport that's now up for sale. 1 owner and looks immaculate (in the photos at least)! Hoping that someone here might be able to give me a little info. Cheers.

Lotus in the Peak 2022 takes place over the weekend of 8th to 10th July 2022. We are very proud to announce that this year’s event is in aid of Rainbows Hospice for children and young people with life limiting illnesses. Have a look at rainbows.co.uk/about-rainbows to see the incredible work they do. All profits will be passed on to this very deserving charity. The event has a similar format to previous years but with the main event on Sunday 10th returning to Chatsworth House, as one of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s chosen supported charities for 2022. The best way to enjoy LitP is to make a long weekend of it and enjoy the Peak District and Derbyshir…

Evening All, I've been really enjoying watching the YouTube daily updates from Jon and Rob on their Euro Road trip in the STP fluro orange Final Edition 250 Cup which you may have seen at LITP, so here's the link to day 1 (filmed at the end of the LiTP day) if you fancy a look. Subscribe to their channel One Eleven Cars for daily updates. https://youtu.be/AgWbuRgizU8 Rich

First 12 or so minutes relevant to Lotus, but worth the whole watch if you have some time.

Hello Unfortunately I'll be putting my Evora N/A 2010 up for sale in the next few weeks I was undecided at LITP so put a higher random price on it whilst deliberating ! The current insurance runs out in August I don't have a time frame for a sale . Does anyone have any experience themselves with short term Insurers ? Or just take a full year then cancel when needed ? When I've sorted out the £6000 worth of Extras & parts I accumulated ( was intended to be a very long term keeper hence the collection ! ) I'll post it in the classifieds here first before broader advertisement when ready Photos ,B Service & full MOT etc .

I have taken some considerable time thinking about this (around 18 months all told) but have now decided that after 19 fun-filled years my days of Lotus ownership have drawn to a close. The Lotus seed was always there, right from me first going to the cinema as a child with my late father and seeing the Esprit in 'The Spy Who Loved Me', that and the later sight of those beautiful black and gold Lotus 79s dominating the F1 circuits in the hands of Mario Andretti and Ronnie Peterson. But it wasn’t until December 2003 that I finally found myself able to purchase a Lotus of my own – a Type 49 S1 Elise...it really was love at first sight. Here I am about to take my Dad ou…

Hello, After a beautiful day in the peaks yesterday, unfortunately my head gasket has gone and needs to be repaired. The car is near Sheffield at the moment, so if anyone can recommend some garages there please let me know. I contacted John Ashley in Rotherham and a number of garages in Dore & Totley already but no luck so far, everyone seems to be booked until August / don't want to take on head gasket jobs. Thank you,
