Hi all, booked in for the show at Chatsworth in either my Type 25 Elise or my partners purple Elan M100…..to be decided!
 

Staying at the Greyhound in Cromford the Saturday night. 
 

Looking forward to it, last time I attended was in 2014 in my Black 1979 S1 Eclat which won a 3rd place attendees trophy.

Andy I remember you, and I remember your black Eclat very well. It had a red leather interior and was just lovely.  There is a very tidy black one for sale on ebay now, have you seen it?  It's twenty grand!!

Hi Dean, I remember meeting you, the first LinP if I remember correctly.

I sold the Eclat a couple of years ago, bought it for £6750 and sold it for £8750. Don’t know where it is now, went through a couple of short term owners since then. Last I heard it sold at auction for £12k ish and disappeared. Nice car. ( I’ll try and find a photo)

I have seen that other one, fetching much better money these days, not sure £20k much though!

Hopefully my cousin in law will be borrowing one of mine for the weekend and joining us. Right laugh she is (ex RAF), but she's a right shortarse, so wants to test drive my elises before she commits.

That is definitely a nice replacement, it's just beautiful.  An early Car Of The Day contender I think. Is it an s1 or s2?

It’s a ‘65 S2. Not a minter but a good user. 
I wasn't actually planning on coming up in it as I’ve also got an S2 Type 25 Elise that I need to use more, had it from new and only done 10,000 ml in it.

Nice to have the choice!

Wow, looks identical to Paul Haigh's car that did indeed win Car of the Day last year.
