KurtB Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Looking REALLY REALLY good Jonny. I'm impressed.
kieranexige Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 This thread is spot on Jonny, great to see the car getting a new lease of life.... Should be well in the Chatsworth deadline at this rate.
jonnyfox Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 Thanks fellas, hope so Kieran but there could be a snag..... ;-)
mambosasa Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Chatsworth 2017 you mean Amazing work and engineering.
Meister Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Jonny - Is this a 'keeper' do you think? Mark
jonnyfox Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 Back from the powder coaters. Three riv-nuts in the top of the battery clamp, a couple of cushion pads, a very small amount of Velcro and bolted in securing everything in place. Nothing is moving. I am very please with the quality of the job, it is first rate. For now it can stay put until I replace the battery And look what else arrived!
chris_h Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Your only saying that because you gravel rashed yours!!!
Steve J Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 This is true, however I wanted them all black when I ordered but then only the Elise sized ones came in all black. I prefer all black, but they are Jons so he can have what he likes. I was just making a tongue in cheek remark.
jonnyfox Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 Well you shouldn't :-) Actually there is a picture of my car/Marks car with that Dakota and the Rimstocks look like they have a chrome rim, I really liked it. Ironically I'm not a massive fan of Chrome Orange....but in that picture I quite like it. I'll pop and find it, edit in a mo. Also... Sold X5 EGE last month, COM 11T is going on :-)
jonnyfox Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 So I've finished refurbishing the rear Brembo's. I'm really pleased with the results, they look brand new! In fact I cleaned them so well they've magicked up four brand new wheel arch liners, I couldn't believe my luck. Ok so I may have part exchanged them I'm actually really glad I did.
