Just spending 5 mins looking around t'internet and came across a NOS octane product that claims an increase in Ron points of 7 over standard unleaded. Now on that basis if I use super unleaded that has a 3(?) increase over standard and then added this product I would be 10 points over standard. So the questions are 1) Is this claim of a 7 point increase rubbish and if not 2) what difference would it make to a car??? Anyone know?

Just thought I would share today’s experience: Left home, fantastic sunny day, roof off, set off to work, head onto motorway, a few clouds in the sky, nothing alarming…. … then … A 2 minute down pour! Where did that come from? Surprised how little I got wet travelling at motorway speeds, but some of those rain drops did come a little sharp! Lucky for me it only lasted 2 mins. The rest of the drive was beautiful and sunny, and all dried out by the time I reached work. I guess it’s the fun of open top motoring!

Hey all! I received this in my email and immediately thought this could be useful on your next run. It wouldn't help with the speed cameras but, it would if you got stopped for speeding through some nice little British roads/towns! Here are the instructions 1)Attach these balloons to the last car in the line of each group (fast, medium and slow groups). 2)Drive as fast and as furiously as desired, making sure that the car with the balloons is always at the end. 3)Smile politely and bat your eyelashes at the nice officer who pulls you over saying apologetically "I'm sorry officer! We all thought they were real!" Let me know how it works out!

After a few phone calls with the factory we decided that it was best for MLOC to be part of this programme, I have the specific details if anyone is interested. Dont worry it doesnt change MLOC as it is, I would never sign up to it if it did! It does however give us greater recognition and direct support from the factory. http://www.grouplotus.com/generic/generic.php?page=331

Afternoon all, Could you please let me know which of the following dealers is the better one to visit for a floor inspection/fix and a couple of recalls (misfire)? I live in Sunny Scunny and these three are the closest: Sheffield (Gordan Lamb) Leeds (JCT 600) Leicester (Storm) Thanks, Kris.

Guys and Gals Bit of a long one this, but please try to stick with it... Some of you will have see the thread started by Barney about MLOC having a stand at the Burton Motorshow, which is part of the Coors Burton Regatta (9/10 July) and costs only £2 per car. I will be able to 'borrow' a stand from work and (using the info in Beefcake's thread about Lotus 'recognising' MLOC) I've contacted Lotus about getting some free posters, etc. to dress the stand. A ticker has been started in the events section and it should be a great weekend, but I think it could be even better... ...I've been thinking (which is rather unusual in itself ) that we could use the opport…
