Rain, Rain Go Away

Just thought I would share today’s experience:

 

Left home, fantastic sunny day, roof off, set off to work, head onto motorway, a few clouds in the sky, nothing alarming….

 

… then … A 2 minute down pour! Where did that come from?

 

Surprised how little I got wet travelling at motorway speeds, but some of those rain drops did come a little sharp!

 

Lucky for me it only lasted 2 mins.

 

The rest of the drive was beautiful and sunny, and all dried out by the time I reached work.

 

I guess it’s the fun of open top motoring!

Just wait until you do that and it thunderstorms down, then you get wet no matter what speed you do. Got some soaked, and the rain hurts when it hits you at speed!

I came home with the doors off today, and Reg handily made them to fit into the boot, so the rain clouds don't scare me!

Got caught in the same shower while stuck in traffic in Leicester.

 

My did I make some people smile :-)

 

Then again it is only water.

 

Actually nice to have the Liz back after 4 weeks with the MG. New tyres on the back and motoring is fun again.
