russelld Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 It's good to hear Greg is making progress Ali. Please pass on mine and Elaine's best wishes. Russ.
Martin R Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 We kidnapped Ali last night and forced a bit of red wine down her. Greg appears to be making good progress still and i am very relieved to say this after last Sundays events. The care he is getting at the QE in Brum is fantasic. There is a fair bit wrong with the NHS. However there is a LOT that is right with it. Quite possibly one of this countries finest achivments IMO and something we should be thankfull and proud of Im sure Ali will update again later.
HABC Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Thanks for the updates, sounds very encouraging with lots of improvements. Thinking of you both, Dave & Helen.
Stumason10 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Great news. Hope Greg keeps getting better Ali. Take time to look after yourself too. Stu
Martin R Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 We went to see Greg last night. they have moved him to what appears to be a normal ward. They also appear to have unplugged him from the national grid. He is improving every time we go which is great news.
R.I.B. Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Excellent news !!! Sounds like he's doing really well.
Laura Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Absolutely brilliant news, thanks for the update Martin
kayj_prod Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Glad to hear he is improving. What a great little community MLOC is.
Daniel Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Good news, I am sure things will keep improving. Who knows, maybe he'll lose the brummie accent and I won't spend half my conversations with his saying "Pardon" or "huh"

Who knows, maybe he'll lose the brummie accent and I won't spend half my conversations with his saying "Pardon" or "huh" Nought wrong with a mild Brummie accent Its the South Africa , Leicester mix that is hard to comprehend.
Daniel Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Could be worse .. I could be ginger.... or worse yet ...french!
surrealillusions Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Good to hear Greg is on the mend. Hoping for a full recovery.
