We went in to see Greg again today. He got up and had another walk but he was tired. He seems to be doing well though. I took his little red car for a small run about before putting it back on charge.

The ride quality on his Ohlins is excellent, i was very impressed. Its a lovely drive for a relativly high milage car. The bloody cambelt is far too tight though and was singing at me. Im sure we can sort that.

Hopefully he will be out of hospital within the next fortnight or so.

Great to hear he's making good progress. You should update the SELOC thread too.

David, i will do that. Having seen some of the people in the same ward at Dudley road hospital he appears to have been very lucky.

Ali,

Having not seen anyone from MLOC for a long time it was great to see youself and Greg at Martin & Liz's wedding.

There he was, shooting eveything that moved with his camera, cracking jokes and generaly being "GREG"

It seems Greg is making good progress now and I'm sure your quick actions made a huge difference to where he is

today in terms of recovery.

I really don't know what to say other than best wishes and a continued progressive recovery for Greg.

I'm really shocked by this, he is such an active fit bloke (not in a gay way!) to be hit by such a nasty thing as this ......

Good luck Greg on the recovery, I know you will strong and get back to your old self quickly, your that kinda bloke.

Best wishes Ali, we will keep a check on his progress.

Greg and Ali's wedding present to us was our wedding photos in an album. He made a fantastic job. I wasnt being pikey either i could not think of anyone else we would rather have done it.

We went again Saturday and he is still improving. IMO compared to most on his ward he has been a very lucky boy. Hopefully the trend will continue and he will be home and up and about shortly.

Glad to read the posts of all the old "Usual Suspects" on MLOC caring for one of our own.

Greg is a lucky man to have you Ali, and he knows it by his firm grip of your hand in those early days.

Tell him we want to go see the Group 'B' rally cars from years back and he MUST come to see them.

Still not sure how to address this thread ...

Thats 'cause I'm Bob and He's Greg :)

Sounds like he was one of the lucky ones, in no small part to Ali's quick reactions. Hope to see you both soon.

We went to see Greg last night. It was really pleasing to see how well he is doing. He was wondering around the corridor when we got there and was a little quiet for the first 30 seconds or so then he was full of conversation and laughs, we had a good chat and he's certainly still got his sense of humour!!!

He didn't want us to leave when the nurses was trying to politely kick us out.

I don't think it'll be long till he's sent home. :)
