MICROSOFT ANNOUNCES POWER CORD REPLACEMENT FOR XBOX Dear Xbox Customer: I am writing to provide you with information about a free power cord replacement program for Xbox. Microsoft has chosen to replace the power cords on Xbox consoles manufactured before October 23, 2003. Our records indicate that you may own one of these consoles. We are providing replacement power cords because component failure in a small number of consoles - fewer than 1 in 10,000 - has caused burning inside the console or melting of the power cord where it connects to the console. Microsoft has designed the replacement power cords to protect you and your Xbox from these compon…

I'm off at 12.15 today to help out a friend who is very interested in a 2001 S2 (just found out about this...!) with about 15,000 on the clock (guy wants £16,000 - aiming for £15,500) Is there anything specific I should be looking for that S2s are known for having problems with? Rob

I've had my Sony Ericson phone with 02 for just over a year now. I want to upgrade it, and looking at one of their leaflets in-store I see you can get Tom Tom Navigator for their 02 PDA O2 PDA Has anyone used this PDA? Is it any good? Would it be worth me exchanging to it so I can have in-car GPS rather than buying a seperate PDA and then buying all the GPS equipment? Any advice appreciated! Cheers Dave

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/notting...ire/4276061.stm "A single speed camera in Nottinghamshire has caught almost 76,000 motorists in five years. The camera, on the A610, has caught almost a third of the speeding drivers in the county and has resulted in £4.2m in fines. The Specs "time-over-distance" cameras measures how long it takes to pass between two points on Nuthall Road. Safety officers say accidents and the number of people injured on the road has halved in three years. " Remember, guys, it's not for the money.

Never really been interested overly in tyre pressure, but since buying a tyre pressure gauge, arrived this morning, I am now wondering.... Toyo T1-S all round Fronts measured at 22 and 19.5 Rears measured at 24 and 23.5 Gauge should be accurate to within 1 PSI Obviously the fronts seem a little far apart, but is this about what they should be? Bearing in mind that I have just had a service and the pressures should have been set by the garage on Tuesday...

just got back to my car, which was parked in a private church hall car park, I was in the hall... to find my wiper arm bent out at 90 degrees, it seemed to bend back not to badly, but the end is now proud of the windscreen by an inch or so, although it works.... I am worried I will find loads of scratches in the daylight, currently the car is wet and its dark outside...... If its only the wiper arm I guess I am lucky, but it still makes me feel really worried now, also anger and violated. Crikey, having ones car stolen must be awful. I go every week or so to this car park, but am now concerned about parking there as a vandal could really do some expensive dam…
