Hey People, I logged on her last year, summer time, as i was hoping to get me a Elise, as i was 20 insurance was too much, and i was having to wait until i was 21. Well i managed to get insured on a VX220 still being 20, and ended up getting on last year november. Just wanted to pop on here and say thank for all the info, and the vx seems the same as the elise. Ohh i was also the odd one out in my yellow 106 gti, when i joined you guys on the shropshire run, and met some every friendly people. Ill be about and if VX's are allowed join you guys on some events, runs as ur midlands based! Cheers Jay

Its happened again, last time I got all crazee, was when I discovered Ariel Atoms! Now I have discovered Ultimas and Radicals, the Ultima's even have soft tops, hard tops, etc. It seems they may be almost as practical as an Elise? Anyone know more about these machines? Or point me in the right direction? It seems Ultimas are kit only, unless one buys second hand? thanks Giddy boy. O-60 in 2.8seconds, hmm, although maybe I can't afford to insure that one on the road...

Hi all, just had this link from a friend in the US. http://www.allpar.com/cars/me412.html Seems it has been around over there for a while in the press. Is it my imagination or are they at last starting to understand cars? Peter

As per an earlier thread on upgrades to my car, here are a few quick pictures (Sorry only just got the car home: Push Button Start and Aces Shift Lights (Change Up & Down) and removable steering wheel... All the installation work has been done by those nice people at Nick Whales. Their Service Manager, Ian is going to come back to me with some installation price now that they have done this fitting and found all the problems. The Aces had to be wired in all the way back to the engine bay because the feed to the stack dash unit has to lower voltage feed. When I get some firm prices I will post them here:

Wondering if anyone has one, and if they are any good. My battery is going flat after 1 week, I know I need a new battery butr thought this would be an investment for next winter. The one I'm thinking of buying is the "CTEK Multi XS 3600 Battery conditioner/charger"

Just tidying the house and found an Autoglym Cabriolet Fabric Hood Maintenance Kit. Used it once on the Elise and once on a Saab 9-3 convertible I owned, so plenty left. Still boxed with clean sponge. Has hood shampoo and water-proofer. I don't need it now, so if there are any Elise owners that fancy it.....drop me a PM and I'll stick it in the post. Steven
