danwebster Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Its pretty easy yep, just need some 5V LED's and a soldering iron!
danwebster Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 Ha well spotted...to be honest, yes - the needles are now near invisible at night....I think i'll spray them black and it'll be fine...
jonnyfox Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Lol ..... For literally all your Lotus needs "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan Webster"!
Steve J Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I think the main problem is the silver dials. They really reflect badly to light (be it sunshine or leds at night) which makes it difficult to read. I'd much prefer plain white dials with whatever led colour takes your fancy.
John FISH Curtis Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Is this easy to do then? Is this easy to do then? I looked into this last year. If i remember correctly, their was damaging the glass and silver surround.
danwebster Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 After doing it myself i'd say you'd need to be pretty clumsy to damage either to be honest, if you're careful the glass comes off very easily.
danwebster Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 Couldn't resist....things of beauty...
