Firepower:- Firewalking SPONSORED FIREWALK - SATURDAY PM 28TH AUGUST 2004, LEICESTER ... VENUE TO BE CONFIRMED A friend of mine involved in the St John Ambulance sent me this. It's the sort of daft thing I might be tempted to try, but not alone. I thought to myself, "where the f*** am I going to find the right sort of nutter daring enough to want to try this..." So here we are! In aid of St. John Ambulance, to raise funds for much needed life saving equipment. I know it sounds mad but I am assured it is safe, and my friend has checked with many St. John Ambulance Counties and each of them have confirmed that they have not had one single injury from their…

I'm off camping in the peak district tomorrow and as the weather looks nice, I really really want to take the Elise. So, do you think it's possible to get two tents, two sleeping bags and two rucksacks + roof in? Just doesn't look possible, but someone's bound to have a clever (sensible?!) idea?? Crash

What a great place Took my injured car there v late on Monday after knackering a brake disc. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them, they even sourced me a set of four 2nd hand MMC disks and pads at way below the market value. I'm sure some garages would have exploited the potential to make extra money. It's great to have somewhere reliable and honest to take our cars. Feel a bit lost without my car and gutted that I'm going to miss 1st Lotus on thurs. Hope Scott, Beefy and Spike enjoy the day.

Had a bit of a play with one last night, it only involved a few roundabouts and sweeping curves, so stacked against the Liz... But whoa, they are fast! Up to about 100 it was close, but obviously above that, he practically left me for dead... i was also not massively keen on doubling the speed limit! Even through the "twistier" bits they looked very composed..... i reckon that competently driven on a B road, they could scare an Elise. Must try one!

Had a fresh bird poop on my softop at the weekend, I flicked it off and scrubbed the area with a wet sponge, however when dry, one could see a water mark and also some ingrained bird poop still. I tried again with water, but its still not quite right. I think I probally should have waited for the poop to dry then brush off? Any advice on removal of the offending ingrained mark? Crossing my fingers....

A friend has told me he won't be going to Le Mans due to unforseen circumstances. Therefore he has a couple of tickets available. They are general entry tickets and camping on Torte Rouge(Im guessing with the spelling). So if anybody is intersested they will have to arrange there crossing and obviously reimburse the seller. He tells me they cost him around £180 quid but will check exactly.
