So who's running Toyo's here? I know Scott is... But the flex is shocking I feel like the rubber is about to peel off my wheels. Upped the pressures but I'm not sure how "high" to go after mike recommended 22/20 (I think) I know I've only done a few miles and they are still to bed in. Think I need to get to my local MaccyD's and get "down with the kids" with a few burn outs to scrub the rears a bit Not sure how I'll sort the fronts out...could put the rears on the front and vice-versa for a laugh I will say they are much better in the wet, I can enter islands at more than 5mph now and I've got a bit more confidence. Ideas?

Anybody got any old suspension that they would like to sell me. I managed to kill my front nearside on the last run and really need to replace it. I could make do with the front 2 but all 4 would be fine. So long as there in fairly good nick I'm in the middle of gutting the bathroom at the moment so i don't want to fork out £480 of a set of S2 kit just get as it looks like the room costs are going to spiral out of control. If anybody can help i'd appreciate it. Cheers.

Following on [kinda] from the toyo thread... What pressures to people run their advans at? Mine havnt been touched since they left Nick Whales, don't know what they were set at originally, got about a 1000 miles on them now. Still feel much surer underfoot than the P0s, even if they do seem a touch understeerie... spike

Just as summer is coming the a/c in my peugeot 306 has packed up....great. Anyone know of a company near Leicester that can check/re-gas a/c? Is it expensive? I think the pump is ok so i'm hoping it won't be too pricy. Cheers, Rich

As I have been abused for having VVC160 stickers on my Elise 111s and told the engine does not exist by Andy (1st lotus, who should know!) I am very confused to see this on pistonheads?!!? 1997 Caterham Seven (de-dion) fitted with VVC EU3 160 engine Is the 160 engine in fact VVC? Does this mean my 111s has this engine? I am confused, or does the guy selling this car subscribe to the same rubbish the bloke who stickered up my Elise does? DOh... its so confusing. I presume Andy is right of course..... ?

I know I can rent a helmet for £20 on the day, however I have been told that I can buy a full 'track' spec helmet for £50. Obviously my head is important, and I use it day to day, but I won't have thought a £50 helmet will be any worse than a hired one? Anyhow, I was sent this link - http://www.raldes.co.uk/ But the website is pretty naff, and I can't make out the helmets very well, see pic Does anyone know if these helmets will meet all trackday specs? As I notice on Seloc that these rules has recently changed? (still a newbie really, bramble)

Really boring topic but I have to get a new sensible car due to a bit of a change in circumstances and getting very p'd off with getting cack company mileage rates driving a diesel, so the landrover has to go. Good bye body roll anyway! Question is, do I get a ford focus or not? Basically I want to pay not much and it has to be petrol and cheap to run, and we get big discounts off fords, landrovers, jags due to my wife's job. Probably 25% or so off list. Given the above conditions and that I will kill it with boring motorway miles pretty quickly, should I get a focus or is there something better that I can get for not much cash, which still has a reasonable …
