Spotted a chav mobile in Adsa the other day with an ally spoiler on the roof. Unfortunately looked like it had been fitted upsidedown so the leading edge was higher than the back. That must have some interesting aerodynamic effects Wish I'd had my camera with me at the time.

Has anyone come across Moto Concept's racing throttle body? Is it any better than the 'usual' upgrade of the 160 TB? According to their claim, it offers "significantly higher air flow rate -- up 30% more! The mechanisms do not open linear, as seen in the original, instead, addresses the valve progressively" http://www.moto-concept.de/en/autos/lotus/...p?item_id=15229

Just been chatting with an engineer from Lotus, who goes to our local, he says that the ballpark cost for the Exige S for Mr Singapore is approx 3/4 million. Also that he has just ordered another one, and that it is 99% likely that he will be entering Le Mans 24hr. Obviously it does not take a genius to work out that this all seems very likely!!! Wahoo!

Collected my brand spangly new Exige this morning from NW in the rain..... dull drive back home in the traffic, only entertainment being the windscreen wiper blade coming unseated meaning i could see even less all the way home, although i managed to resolve that issue myself... LOL Kept the RS Focus in the end as well, so all is great!! cant really say much about it as i left the exige at home and took the RS to work..... car only has 14 miles on the board, so lots of running in to do ! Cheers all and its good to be back (AGAIN!!) Johnny M

Hi, 'Seeking your much-appreciated recommendations and advice on choice / sourcing of rear tyres for my S1. Although I really enjoy driving the car, I don't really "drive" the car hard. It is used everyday for a 12 mile urban round trip. I never take it on a track, and won't be in the future. I don't want to pay big money for something I wont (personally) get the extra benefit from (if that makes sense?) With the above in mind, can you please recommend some good (appropriate) tyres and possible sources (for the best price)? I am based in Shrewsbury. I will travelling to Horizon in the next few weeks, so will be around the Sandwell / Birmingham area if t…

Hello all, this is me first post, so be nice! Have seen a 51 plate s2 for sale with 42000 miles for 14995. Should I be wary of high milers like this, even though it seems fairly cheap, or are the s2s pretty reliable at this kinda mileage. It comes with a years warrenty as well, so cant be too bad!

I'm hoping to get down to the south coast this coming weekend to take a look at a 50th Anniv S1 Elise. Can anyone recommend a contact (or a link to a Dorset Lotus club) so that I can bribe or persuade them to come and have a look at it with me ? Thanks.

Had a call from the chap I bought the Elise from, to say that on Men & Motors there's a programme called Track Day Warriors (Friday night 7pm and due to repeat a few times in next few days). For about 10s it features him in the Elise going round the Nurburgring. Fame, of a sort! At least next time, the car will know the way there!
