PJT Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 First day of no pubs, no coffee shops, restaurants etc. Spent a fair few hours driving round the empty country roads in the Lotus with no particular place to go. My 6 year old came to, and whizzed around until he was actually sick. Been to Halfords and spent too much money on car care shit. Tomorrows highlight- washing the car 😕 How has everyone else filled their time?

John FISH Curtis Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Walked the dog to the allotments, planted some salad and veg. Lotus is still without seats and harness fitted. Has no MOT and is SORN. By the time I get it ready for an MOT we'll be on lock down. So, she's going on axle stands very soon.
Phil S1 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 I never thought I'd say this but thankfully the garden is starting to wake up so there'll be plenty for me to do out there in the coming weeks and months and I'm sure there'll be some decorating to be done too Having already polished and waxed the Lotus, daily and daughter's car I have now moved onto the wife's to make the full set. And I've just about got everything either to hand or on order to build another radio controlled plane, so that lot will keep me busy for a good while yet... hopefully one day I'll be able to get out and fly them all 😁

Jonathan E Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 You lucky lads with cars to drive and polish. My new 250 is in factory eight at Hethel which is final QC before delivery to the dealer. We were due to visit the factory to see it on the line last Thursday but the visit was called off at the 11th hour🙁. I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that it could be quite some time before I actually get my hands on it now.. the sunny weather isn’t helping either. Half an hour from empty Welsh roads and no toy to play with🙄
