KurtB Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Very very exciting! How long will it take them Leigh?
Dr H Posted October 25, 2018 Author Posted October 25, 2018 Few weeks I think. 2 if I'm lucky but I'm guessing more like 3 to 4.
Dr H Posted November 19, 2018 Author Posted November 19, 2018 With many many thanks to Dave ( 111rDW ) again! I now have this back in the garage Lots to do now fitting and wiring all the lights etc, fitting canopy catches and stays, fitting heater controls to dash and wiring up etc. before going to paint. Want to get as much done before paint so less likely hood of scratching it once done. More pics as I progress. But this feels like a big move forward!
Phil S1 Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Can you honestly tell me you haven't sat in it going Brrrruuuurrrmmmm....Brrruuuuurrrmmmm?

Dr H Posted November 21, 2018 Author Posted November 21, 2018 Well I've already removed the dash, the door cards, the doors, the door hinges and the boot hinges! All the hinges are off to powder coat. Next is to fit the front and rear wiring looms '/ lights and check it all works!
111rdw Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 But he ‘drove’ it off the trailer..... brakes work👍
Dr H Posted November 22, 2018 Author Posted November 22, 2018 Made a list of things I need to do before paint - and its bloody long . Have removed the doors and boot lid. Removed the hinges from both and sent to powder coat. Removed door cards from doors to set up and mount the central locking actuators. Found a few issues that will take time to fix but in the meantime I've been fitting the lights Fronts (headlamps) They will have a 'trim' fitted eventually. Rear light 'dishes' Rear light fits inside (this is upside down. indicator should be on the top. And how they fit on the body (fog lamp fitted too) Test fitted the bonnet louvers too Next job is to fit the wiring looms and see if I can make them work!
Dr H Posted November 22, 2018 Author Posted November 22, 2018 The Eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed the bonnet louvers are upside down! Just placed in for the picture so no issue.
