S1-Si Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Hi all, Can anyone suggest a Lotus friendly tyre fitter in or around Derby please? Looking for someone that knows how to lift my S1 Elise which is marginally lower than normal. I got my last ones fitted at Donnington Park during a meet there. I can't remember who did it, just that it was a truck in the car park. I was thinking of some Advan Neovas again. No real rush for them but getting ready for latter this year. Thanks, Si
Phil S1 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 If you had them fitted at Donington previously then it would probably have been through bookatrack. I generally use Mr.Tyre in Derby or Inner Ring as they were called previously but I take the wheels and tyres and just let them fit them.
dobbo Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 I've always used Inner Ring (now Mr Tyre). Happy to fit my tyres and do proper (high speed) balancing.
Stumason10 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I've always bought tyres on line and used inner ring or Derby Tyres. Latter just fitted Ad07r I bought from Elise parts. Cheap friendly and know how to jack it up after I showed them.
winthattt Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 I use inner ring as well or Select a tyre in Belper. In all cases I take the wheels off the car and take them in my Audi. When I have had them jack the car I have given them instruction and checked the lifting. Select a tyre now know me and my Lotus as rebalance when needed for a very good price. Ao48 can go out after hard use. Keith
