Bought an Elemental Shower Cape from the Club Lotus stand for my S1 Elise at Donny - tried to fit it tonight & I've got a suspicion that it is for an S2! The rear of the shower cape has three elasticated hooks which obviously are for attaching to something - but there's nothing on my S1 at the rear to attach to! Anyone help out? Cheers Mark

Ok, ive established how to go about the task or re-glueing and straightening and am going to have a go myself first, however the links to tell you how to do this suggest pulling the inner top door seal off to get the glass out as its only held in by its shape, now im pulling and tugging but it wont budge, shall i just be brutal or is there a trick involved im using this link here as my bible http://www.elise-faq.info/content/windows/rebond.php

Off to the land of Cheese and Windmills next week (Work and LoT Trackday !! ). Reading through the manual, it says that if I undo the three bolts holding the wheelarch liner inplace, there is a "switch" for continental driving that moves the headlamps..... Do I really have to try and undo three bloody bolts on the wheelarch liner and flick a switch that may or may not be there ? Can I not buy that black stuff "normal" cars use and mask off the headlamps ? Cheers, Lazy of Derby

In process of rebuilding my S2, as such have needed to replace Off Side Sill (runs down side of the car). Lotus sent me new side sill which has holes cut for Air Con/Electric Windows - but my 2003 model does not need these! Hence I need to fill some pretty big holes 32-38mmm, does anybody know where I might be able to buy some??? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks Nick

About to go out and fit this (brand new) and have just remembered that the car is probably running a bit rich - it always gets lots of black flecks over the back end and on the front of any car following. Am I likely to knacker the new cat ? Chris

Ok bit of a prob here, the window has not come apart from the mechanism but it feels like the mechanism has jammed somewhere, the window goes down for about 4" then stops, i've taken out the interior door panel and the arms seem to stop then flex, i think if i force it something will break, any ideas ?

It's really annoying, especially at night! It never used to do it until I took the seats out to fit new speakers. Now it flickers on and off over every bump in the road. It's not even connected and the wires are taped up! Does anyone know how I can stop it? Thanks

ok, my car had the radio kit factory fitted. their are two crappy speakers behind the seats that i need to upgrade. Does anyone know the size of these so i can order some new ones? Also did the radio fitting kit include the mounts for these and wiring etc? just worried that when i remove them il find someone elses cobbled together workmmanship!

No doubt some folks on here may have experienced this problem,My 111s used to get through them at an alarming rate and my 111r popped one out yesterday.I've come to the conclusion that the units are a weak point and although they will be replaced under warranty(if your dealer can get them) for most they will just break again in the future,So next time you have one let go fix it like this, it won't let you down again.Its not the tidiest job but it works just fine. Just found THE BEST EVER cleaner for magnolia leather trim. Flash mark and Stain Eraser blocks return light leather to it's origianl colour after years of neglect. I admit our interior was in a shocking state, but these flash thingies worked a treat, better then any type of leather cleaner I have used. Followed up with a damp cloth to remove any residue and will ensure it is well conditioned, just incase the active ingredient strips the leather of any oils. Cue Zircon with some comment about me keeping my leather in good condition......
