Jonathan E
No doubt some folks on here may have experienced this problem,My 111s used to get through them at an alarming rate and my 111r popped one out yesterday.I've come to the conclusion that the units are a weak point and although they will be replaced under warranty(if your dealer can get them) for most they will just break again in the future,So next time you have one let go fix it like this, it won't let you down again. Its not the tidiest job but it works just fine. Jonathan E
AnthT, To be honest the one on the other side looked just like that,it can still be fixed using the same method.Lotus have come up with a fix for the broken clip on the newer cars, they have used a plastic grommet to hold the wiring loom in place....it doesn't stop the broken indicator unit it just stops the damn thing from flailing around on the front clam.Davey who comes on here has been waiting since November for two new units, they appear to be unavailable from Lotus.I can't believe they haven't sorted this one yet. AnthT
o bugger maybe I should take them both out, add some piping and call the brake ducts
Davey
Jon I've actually been waiting since september for my indicator units, but am concerned that when I get my new ones they'll just snap and take some paint off. When my first ever one broke off on my blue elise I was doing >120 in the dark and when it flew out and hit the screen it gave me the shock of my life. Took ages to find it on the road as well afterwards. The long and the short of it is- my indicators have spent as long being held in with black insulation tape as they have by the proper clips. You s1 owners are so jealous I bet!

Jonathan E
Dave, They're all being used on the line at Hethel...this is the Lotus response to anything and everything these days,in fact I think they've got bored of using TADTS and now use TABUOTLAH instead!!!
