a7esk Posted March 24, 2005 Share Posted March 24, 2005 Does anybody now how to take one off and glue a new one back on ,my one has started to crack in 3 places is this a common fault at one time .is it worth sending a email to lotus about this fault see what they say about it ? Steve J Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 The front grill on an S2 is held in at the top by 4 or 5 spring clips and a couple of pegs into holes at the bottom. Taking out and putting back can be done in seconds. Mines not cracked and haven't heard it happening to anyone else. Did you hit something you're not telling us about? Jonathan E Posted March 26, 2005 Share Posted March 26, 2005 Mmmmm,not easy if its the one over the rad.I suspect you could probably get a new one,however as you say it would mean removing the old one and bonding a new one onto the access panel.I'd give Ian at Nick Whale a ring and see if they have any ideas.
