About to go out and fit this (brand new) and have just remembered that the car is probably running a bit rich - it always gets lots of black flecks over the back end and on the front of any car following.

 

Am I likely to knacker the new cat ?

Probably.... sounds like when its fitted you need to pop along to Emerald and get a remap, probably a good idea anyway if you are putting a cat back on.

Pop along to Emerald - like it's just down the road....

 

Fitted cat and got some black specs out, but then again the guy that just gave me a hand with the brakes gets the same out of his (almost) standard S1 with cat.
