KurtB
It's looking good Alex. Keep the faith, despite your run of bad luck, it'll be worth it in the end :-)
Alex B
Turn it over a couple of times by hand with the plugs out. Just to make sure nothing is amiss. Good luck turns over freely with plugs in however i need to replace them so will do it without just to double check.

Alex B
So tonight, I replaced the broken speedo drive. Tried starting it. No fuel coming through Ran through the fuel system wiring. Found out I had incorrectly connected a live up. Corrected it and this happened.... No cat, back box or air filter Ok so there's still along way to go. Martin R
Alex, good work. What speedo drive? I have always removed #11 on here to fill the gearbox. Its handily labeled as fill plug http://www.deroure.com/diagrams.asp?TBL=1319&MAK=1&MDL=13&SMA=0&SMO=0&ST=&SC=0 Fill till it just dribbles out on flat ground and job done. @ndy
Looking good Alex.... Nice to see DIY builds / upgrades As Martin mentioned, Filling the gearbox is done via the fill plug until it dribbles out, I use a short piece of garden hose with a funnel pushed in to the top, Takes a while to fill thou
AlanS1
Its a great feeling when it fires up and all runs after so much hard work. I remove the speedo to fill the box. Its easier on mine as i have the ally removable panel. Everyone to there own.

If you is the unused speedo drive it's easier to get to.
Martin R
Is the speedo drive at the same height as the fill plug then? It should take 2.4L IIRC.
