Mot Leicester Area - Thumbs Up Boyslade Motors

Back up in Leics in the week and looking to get the Elise MoT'd, but wondering where the best place to get it done in the Leic / Hinckley area is now?

I took my VX220 to Boyslade Motors in Burbage. They were very accommodating getting it through the emissions testing, although it's just a couple of old boys so you might need to help them out moving the car. The 6ft+ owner insisted he'd be ok at first, but then got stuck in the car and needed my help getting out!

My mate owns Coalville tyres. He would do it for you no problem. He is very lotus friendly...

Well dropped the car of this morning at Boyslade Motors and it passed with no problems at all! :-)

 

I had hardly driven it since the last MoT, when I had new tyres fitted and a few other bits and bobs done, but was still very happy for it to pass! Apart from the usual stuff (emissions), they had no problem with the headlamps, where the garage I usually use in Guildford seemed to have a problem with them every time (nothing a drive round the block to resettle the suspension seemed to cure!)

 

So anyone out that way it seems a good option! Just for reference I do have a cat fitted, so don't go expecting bypass pipes to perform miracles!!

I removed mine as it was too much hastle, and too loud! I'm good thanks, hope you and Liz are too!

Thanks Paul - I assume you mean the garage down towards the water park?

 

Saw your S2 again this week on Shenton Lane, we still haven't got round to organising a run and a pint, I'll be SORNing mine at the end of the month (I think) so we'll have to get something organised for a winter blast and pray for good weather!
