I could email/call them both, but you lot prove to be a fountain of knowledge...so... B service is due soon, £229 at Horizon I believe (not sure on NW cost?). And in another thread someone mentioned the cambelt needed changing after 4 years?? If so, anyone know what kinda price I'm looking at for that too? Had some whopping bills recently (not Elise related!) and I'm fecking broke, having to change to ge the cambelt done is gonna result in me staying in till next payday

Sorry about the NLC but currently telling everyone that will listen. As quite a few of you will know me from meeting me at the runs / karting / rolling road days I've been on, I thought I'd share the news with you lot too... Went on holiday last week with my girlfriend to Corfu (Sidari - the quiet bit, not the clubby bit)... and came back with a fiancee (the same person for those of you wondering! ) Decided to pop the question on Sunday. Hired a speedboat for a couple of hours, did a bit of a tour of the island and then pulled up to a secluded and deserted bay with caves etc. Dropped anchor and we swam ashore. Then got on one knee as we sat on the rocks having r…

Yes or No Am getting clutch hose replaced at A Service on Friday, as it uses same reservoir i am tempted to get braided brakes too - though seems to save no time. So is it worth it, what benefit do i get? Firmer pedal feel and less sponge apparantly. Any experiences, thoughts, recommendations?

Went hot air ballooning - absolutely brilliant. Then out for a meal, where I had to leave the car in the centre of town Northampton without a roof on (I'd forgotten it was in the garage drying out from the midweek drenching it got). Surprisingly this was not a problem. Then came the trip home..... First off, some bloke in metro wanted to race round the city streets which I let him do on his own. Then a lowered Prelude, lowered and blacked out Vectra and a lowered debadged turbo Sierra came past playing with each other and right up each others arses. Then an M3 came to joined their party. Then we had to drive through Northampton Saints / Rushden Diamonds footy ex…

Said goodbye to my second 111s this afternoon as the new owner drove off into the distance. He lives in Leicester so i have pointed him towards the website and the car is still sporting the MLOC sticker. Just here now waiting for my Punto hire car to be delivered and am probably going to go for a Renault Clio Cup for a while till I get fed up and then go for a S1 111s again Too many downsides to owning the car at the moment with my new 'crib' not having parking and the car owing probably more than I can afford. No doubt ill be checking the website and no doubt ill be back in the fold by the end of the......month

My workmate is finally getting close to taking the plunge and buying an Elise after years of drooling over them. He has looked at one for sale at a TVR dealership, it's an S2 111S, think the colour is gunmetal, reg no. LB02 YUG. Does anyone on here know anything about this car? He is worried because the oddometer has been replaced.
