OK, so I have to organise a mate's stag do and since I know him very well and we do actually get on, it needs to not involve any eye brow shaving, gerbils or ending up naked chained to a park bench in Abergavenny. Especially not me on this last bit anyway. Anyone have any bright ideas besides getting ratted, hurling and feeling like death for a week? Kristian

While you lot were doing the Brunty thing this weekend I decided to take the Elise to the Nurburgring for a few laps. What excellent fun I had, although wimped out after about 6 laps as some of the guys there are complete nutters. Also went out in a friends Caterham and a Subaru Impreza ... the Elise was def the best for me though although the Cateram was faster probably because I didn't want to bin my car. Will wait till GT4 is out on the PS2 so I can actually learn the track! The number of times I came over blind rises with my foot on the brake expecting a corner, when in fact it was just a long straight ... oh well, better safe than sorry. Saw 2 other UK Eli…

Got it fitted..... ride is much nicer, seems much more under control. Seems a bit weird at the mo though as on a few corners i felt as though i should back off as though the tail was about to go... it never did though. I reckon it was down to me expecting body roll and not getting it Am i being weird???

Quick warning - just found out on SELOC that you have to wear long sleeve tops and trousers... no skin on show on arms or legs! Should be lovely in the heat

Hello there I'm looking at buying a good 2-seater sports car and have shortened my list down to an S2 Elise or a Caterham 7 (sorry!). To help me decide I'm looking to try and hire an S2 Elise for the day and take it for an extended test drive. I've done a bit of research but can't find anyone hiring an elise for 1 day for much less than £200. Do any of you know of anyone who would hire it out for less, or alternatively let me take one for a test drive of more than 10-15 minutes? Any pointers on what to look for when choosing my elise would be well recieved too!

Anyone know loads of useful things about mobiles? I need to replace mine since I'm on orange and the coverage where I live is cack on that network but fine on the others - some type of black spot apparently. It must have bluetooth and would prefer if it had a camera - have been looking at nokia 6230 (favourite at teh mo) or 7610 or 6600, or sony ericsson P900. Ideally not too house brick ish and definitely not pay as you go. Any ideas or comments?
