MattyB
I could email/call them both, but you lot prove to be a fountain of knowledge...so... B service is due soon, £229 at Horizon I believe (not sure on NW cost?). And in another thread someone mentioned the cambelt needed changing after 4 years?? If so, anyone know what kinda price I'm looking at for that too? Had some whopping bills recently (not Elise related!) and I'm fecking broke, having to change to ge the cambelt done is gonna result in me staying in till next payday
Scott_Mac
Well in effect you are having a C Service minus a fuel filter. NW want £610 + VAT for the C from memory. Horizon charged me £349 + VAT for what you want. I was in the same position, decided it was worth paying for the cambelt rather than deal with the consequences HTH

Chorlton
Thanks guys, I would be asking exactly the same question in a few more weeks now of course if the little car is already in the garage what else can I have done.. hmmm
Scott_Mac
That was the issue i had Chorlton... ended up with a few bits and bobs. Don't forget to budget for potential other issues, such as ball joints, UJ's gaitors etc... my actuall bill for my service, which included all of the above + fitting exhaust and CRP.. was £546 (from memory)
Chorlton
yeah Scott, thats what puts me off saying can you just upgrade these bits as well, is the hidden costs you get with a service.
dr.j
I paid 305 for A service, cambelt, brake fluid & coolant change. If I've worked it out right cambelt component cost about 165 all in.
