Just did the tour this morning , I was lucky that I was only person on tour so I got a one to one with the tour guide Nick. i had a fantastic look around the lotus factory process and it was interesting to chat to some of staff who worked on various cars in the past and how it compares to the latest factory workings if anyone who owns or wants to own lotus or is plain nosey should book the tours lotus put on. I really like to try the driving academy but it’s a little more pricey than post Geely changes to Hethel.

Firstly, I just thought I’d make a post to say thanks for letting me join, seems like a friendly forum. I don’t own an Elise currently, but ever since I had some passenger laps around donington park as a teenager a good 15 years ago I’ve always wanted one. Currently have an mr2 and want to stick with a Toyota engine, so I gather I’m looking at an S or 111r model? Hope to see some people at some meets soon.

Hello In the presentation page of your 2024 event, my wife and I thank you for showing our car the Europe S1 from France, taken during our visit in 2015. I still own the car. Good meeting

The forums are a bit quiet at the moment, so thought I'd fire up a new thread with a whirlwind tour of my Lotus journey . Mine started back in 2006 with this ex-Lotus 2006 Exige S (a 2ZZ screamer with a very addictive chain saw supercharger sound-track) in Storm Titatium, bought from Nick Wale Sports Cars in Bromsgrove... Next up was 2007 and a brand new Elise R (with N/A 2ZZ screamer) in Canyon Red with cream leather interior, bought from Lipscomb down in Maidstone. The car was already in their showroom just begging to be bought!! Then... in 2008, along came a factory ordered Elise SC (another 2ZZ screamer but now with neat littl…

Just picked these up. Very happy with them. Great to have a wet and dry set of W&T for the track. And being the press forged wheel set, strong and light.

Ok, so my 2006 S2 has no handbrake cover. Looks like that's how most come out of the factory. Gear shift has the standard perforated leather. Im looking at the option of getting a HB cover, preferably to match the gear leaver cover, looking to keep it as OEM as possible. What have other owners done with their handbrakes? Aftermarket to match? Or a set to swap out for a new look? Nearly all I have seen go over the top and outside. Any neat ones that tuck inside the HB slot? Show us what you got.......

A number of you will have met my dog Badger. He attended LITP 2022 and several Sunday morning ride outs. Sadly my wingman passed away last night. It was going to be his 14th birthday on Sunday 17th March and I was going to organise and bring him along for a ride out. Would give anything for that opportunity now. A few photos of him enjoying a Lotus

Hi MLOC, it's been a while since I frequented these parts. I hope you are all well?! I'm looking to tidy up Bucket (my very 'used' S1) and looking for a LH sill. Anyone got an idea of where to procure one from, I've done the usual google search which throws up ones you can't buy anymore, or, still glued to a crashed S1. Any ideas welcome, Cheers Stu

Been looking at this ... https://www.junction17cars.co.uk/used-cars/lotus-exige-35-v6-sport-410-euro-6-2dr-S0249/ Anybody aware of any history on or around it? Biggest concerns are around how much its been "tracked hard"
