This proves that woman in mags really aren't perfect! Amber (from Footballers Wives) annoyed a magazine artworker so he sent out the original artwork from a recent photo shoot as well as the touch-up.

Hi to everyone on the furom. I am currantly looking to buy my first Lotus Elise and thought that a good idea would be to ask the peolple that drive them some advise. What can people tell me about the Elise? What should I look for, are they reliable? I will be using it as an everyday car, covering around 150 miles per week if not more. Any information is greatfully recieved and I hope that throught talking to the people that drive them I can buy myself a good car soon. Thanks for your time. Matt

Having booked my track day at Bedford at the end of the month, I thought Id get a free noise test which they carry out on site. It was a "just in case" job.. Anyhoo I think the limit is 89db or something similar. Instructor took it round and with my setup (Magnex/CLF SS exhaust/ CRP / Pipercross cone filter) the results were.......70.5db. 70! Thats ridiculous! Not even mildly credible, that. My car could burgle your house and you wouldnt wake up, its that quiet. Pitiful.Time for a new exhaust methinks. A bit of wind direction could have helped keen it down, but the difference is negligible. Anyway, Im putting this here as a benchmark if anyone has the same se…

Hi All, Am struggling to find any selection within the spec.... 4 seats, back seats for kids or grannies, so not too micro... but 2 door is just about ok. Folding hard top vaguely sporty, asking a lot I know... I know about the Saab, looks good, only a bit slow, although seems the only option so far... Little Peuget thing is too small What else is there???? Do merc do a 4 seater SLK, CLK? thanks! bramble

Only a little thing, but doesn't it really get on your nerves when other people can't leave property that doesn't belong to them alone? Went to a car show last week (non-Lotus) and picked up a set of Lotus valve caps. Nothing special, but the only Lotus-oriented thing there to buy. So they've been on the car for one whole week before they've been nicked. Went to the supermarket today only to come out and be informed by the trolley lads that three of them had been nicked. Credit due to the lads though, they had given chase when they noticed what was happening, but the thiefs were on bikes and so they couldn't keep up. Suppose it's another arguement against going to the …

If anyone is interested, and doesn't have too heavy a night tonight, coverage of the British GT championship at Mondello last weekend is on channel 4 tomorrow morning at 7.30am. Worth watching to see Gavan Kershaw race the Motorsport Elise. I won't tell you the results if you don't already know. Worth watching, though! Fiona Edited for picture size.

Firepower:- Firewalking SPONSORED FIREWALK - SATURDAY PM 28TH AUGUST 2004, LEICESTER ... VENUE TO BE CONFIRMED A friend of mine involved in the St John Ambulance sent me this. It's the sort of daft thing I might be tempted to try, but not alone. I thought to myself, "where the f*** am I going to find the right sort of nutter daring enough to want to try this..." So here we are! In aid of St. John Ambulance, to raise funds for much needed life saving equipment. I know it sounds mad but I am assured it is safe, and my friend has checked with many St. John Ambulance Counties and each of them have confirmed that they have not had one single injury from their…
