This expectation extends to interactions with both fellow members and non-members. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all participants can enjoy their shared passion for cars without discrimination or discomfort.
2. Professional and Ethical Conduct Members must avoid any actions or behaviors that could potentially harm the reputation of the club or its operations. This includes, but is not limited to, refraining from illegal activities, upholding the club's integrity, and avoiding any engagements that might reflect negatively on the club or its community.
3. Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community. As such, discrimination, harassment, or any other behavior that undermines the dignity or self-esteem of an individual will not be tolerated. This applies to but is not limited to discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or any other legally protected characteristic.
4. Enforcement of Code of Conduct Violations of these guidelines may result in actions taken by the administration team, including but not limited to warnings, suspension of membership privileges, or expulsion from the club, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
5. Reporting and Grievance Procedures Members are encouraged to report any incidents where they feel these principles have been breached. Reports can be made confidentially to the designated officers, and every complaint will be investigated thoroughly and impartially. We are committed to ensuring fairness and respect for all parties involved.

I have recently changed my Daily from a dirty diesel to an electric. It struck me that the 0-60 times were almost identical, possibly quicker, to the Exige so my thought was, if comfortable family cars with suitcase room are now performing so well, are our cars becoming obsolete? Has the acceleration potential of EV’s made traditional sports cars meaningless? In an era where electric motor torque is rewriting the rules of straight‑line acceleration, it’s easy to forget what “fast” used to mean. A question has been swimming around in my head for a while now, as I imagine it has in others too. When a “nothing special” electric family car can leave my “performan…

Well, after 21 years of MLOC and 4 different Lotus ownerships (Elise S1, Exige S2, Evore LE, Exige S2 280s, I've had to admit that I can't get in and out of my S2 Exige in a small single garage anymore (without lots of shoulder pain), and have finally reliquished my beloved Lotus to Jon Seal. (it's the red one with black stripes). I just wanted to thank you all for 21 years of brilliant support and MLOC events. It made ownership more than just the car. May your cars always be lighter and more fun than the grossly lardy stuff that's being made these days. Thank you.

As the title suggests , a newbie query. I have just bought an S2 Elise , 2007 with the Toyota 1ZZ power unit in ‘ touring spec’. That means electric windows, a radio and , err, not sure what else. Anyway, that is not the subject of the query. The car is blue with a cream interior. The latter I don’t plan to keep. In fact , already bought some equivalent second hand door cards in black and am looking hard at a pair of Corbeau LE seats . So, first part of my query centres on those Corbeau seats. Anyone on here have them or at least used them and have a view on them and the second is a vague idea of what, if anything, a pair of cream seats with matching door cards is actuall…

Good Evening wonderful people of MLOC! We have just had an LiTP planning meeting and desperately need some additional volunteers to support smooth running of this year's event ( Sunday 28/06). Specifically we need some help running the stall (selling MLOC merchandise, raffle tickets etc.) And we also need a couple of extra helpers to direct and organise parking. LiTP is run exclusively by volunteers who give their time generously to put on a great day and to raise money for Rainbows Children's Hospice. If you and or friends, family, partners or pets are willing and able, please post on here or drop me a direct message. On the job training provided…

Guys just wanted to say Hi. I joined last year when I started looking for an Evora but never introduced myself. I've now own an Evora 400 and hoping to get out and about in it. Only just seen the run tomorrow am and would have been ideal to have a blast and meet some like minded folk; as non of my family or friends are really into cars. Unfortunately the car insurance doesn't start till 4th May. Hopefully will be able to get some fun drives after.

Have you booked your LitP 2026 accommodation yet? The best way to enjoy Lotus in the Peak is to bring your partner or a friend along and make a weekend of it. We have the LitP barbecue on the Friday night, the 'Pootle in the Peak' guided tour with lunch stop on the Saturday (or spend the day enjoying your own Peak District excursion) before Sunday's main event. The best place to stay is at our LitP base, Oakhill Hotel in Cromford. The barbecue is held in Oakhill's beautiful gardens and the hotel is reserved for LitP so will be buzzing with Lotuses and friendly Lotus folk. LitP founders Dean and Marie Bower will also be on hand at Oakhill throughout. …
