I'm not sure if it was his driving technique or the road surface but it looked a bit tail happy even at low speeds.

I quite like the idea of one of those Motorsport Tools brand-new mk2 Escorts, with seam welded fully caged shell. 6 link back axle and 2.5l 4 cyl duratec with 200+ bhp and loads of torque, etc

Ironically I sold mine to buy a Lotus!

As possionate lotus fans it's hard to imagine not driving one of norfolks finest.

But if the brand didn't exist what car do you think you would be driving

One of my friends had the 3.0 Capri and he had to replace the rear axle on it twice, another friend had the 2.8i and fitted a turbo to it, he also had to replace the rear axle.

When I had my 280 serviced, the two brothers who owned the garage had one of the 50 that were Turbo charged, that they assured me was worth at least £6.5 K at the time. Reckon they could put a 3 in front of that figure now. Looks like just over 100 are taxed every year so that's 900 that are either Sorned, in museums or more likely trashed!

I like 2.8 Capris. My Dad had one in the day. They were quick, quite light.
