MG4Lotus Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 I'm not sure if it was his driving technique or the road surface but it looked a bit tail happy even at low speeds.

MG4Lotus Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 One of my friends had the 3.0 Capri and he had to replace the rear axle on it twice, another friend had the 2.8i and fitted a turbo to it, he also had to replace the rear axle.

When I had my 280 serviced, the two brothers who owned the garage had one of the 50 that were Turbo charged, that they assured me was worth at least £6.5 K at the time. Reckon they could put a 3 in front of that figure now. Looks like just over 100 are taxed every year so that's 900 that are either Sorned, in museums or more likely trashed!
DeanB Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 I like 2.8 Capris. My Dad had one in the day. They were quick, quite light.
