Hi Guys,

Has anyone fitted a TRD Induction kit to a 2ZRFE engine?

I heard there maybe check engine light issues?

I'm chasing a better engine tone with a bit of SC Whine :)

Having my 2ubular fitted tomorrow morning :)

Thanks dude! I'm well pleased with the 2ubular :)

However, standing water on the M40 / M5 today - scary stuff!

TRD is easy to fit. Easier if you remove the rear near side wheel and arch. The bracket for the filter housing usually needs bending out slightly (by hand).

TRD will improve induction noise and SC shine.

The filter element does get dirtier quicker than a standard element, so keep an eye on it.

Bit of a late reply. I've had one for years with no problems and as for your new 2bular wait till you've a few thousand miles on it it just gets better and better.

Your right! It's getting better with a bit of use. Great bit of kit - I'm very pleased.

TRD next :)

I fitted a TRD airbox and filter to my Elise S (1ZZ) last weekend and very pleased with it.

I don't find it massively louder than the standard set-up at idle or low speeds but makes the car come alive at higher revs with a louder and deeper intake noise.

Fitting was straight forward and required very few tools too!

I've got a TRD box/filter on my 250 Cup, no problems with the EML and makes a nice meaty sound on full power + a little bit of SC whine :)
