Martin R Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 This looks nice http://classifieds.seloc.org/ads/s2-111s-25900-miles/ If it was bought off Will it should be a good one.
Alex B Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 Insurance is gonna cost a fair bit. But it covers track days for me and my dad so its not too bad.
Martin R Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Im not suprised at your age. Get Dad to make a contribution Who did you go with in the end?
Alex B Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 CCI. Have used em before, and currently have my xr3i with them.
Steve J Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Excluding commuting seems to bring the premiums back to previous years levels. Went a bit mad this year. I was quoted between £700 and £800 for 5k miles p.a. initially but after a bit of discussion was back to £400 with 3k p.a.
Alex B Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 I'm happy with the quote in all fairness. 8k pa 6 track days Social domestic only 1300 quid 23years old with 3ncb
scatty Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Has anyone had dealings with Liverpool Victoria/Frizzel ? I did an online quote after seeing them on the thread Martin put up with a list of mloc insurers???? They gave a very very competitive quote, £ 460 with unlimited mileage, which I thought an absolute bargain. Also commuting included.
Steve J Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Use LV for other cars but since the Exige is heavily modified they won't touch (as won't most insurers).
Alex B Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 I went a collected it yesterday, and I'm now in love will give it a bath tomorrow as its ditched from its trip to uttoxeter horse races today. And get some decent pictures done
DeanB Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Give it a clean tomorrow afternoon, after coming out for a gentle run in the morning with Russ and me!
scatty Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Good man. They do get dirty quickly.i had a scatty tour today snd you couldn't see my lights by the time I got back, very mucky. I obviously don't use my wipers much as a quick squirt from the washers, sent the water 80 feet in the air completely missing the window, I had to stop and re adjust after borrowing a needle from a shop!!!!! Strange looks indeed!!!!!! It only took me 20 mins to get it right..., DOH!!!!!
Alex B Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 Haha window washers are abit weak on mine. Not the moat ideal car for going over soggy grass car parks
