darryl Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 CENTRAL LOTUS ORGANISED Any one interested in driving through some of the best roads Europe has to offer, with Paris, Frankfurt & Milan on the way to watch possibly the greatest F1 show in mainland Europe?
AlanS1 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Initial thoughts are I am up for this, then I have noticed the price!!
Winners Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I liked the sound of it too. Then I remembered I had kids to clothe, feed and put through university and I suppose that's more of a priority. I'm sure it's a great deal, but not for me! :-(

DeanB Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 It is a lot of money but would be fantastic fun.
Alex B Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 For sale one kidney £65000 That'll be enough to secure two tickets and buy a v6 Exige....
Chris_edeson Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Yeah I loved this and would love to go but not at that price!
Foggy Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I too would love to do this, the drive would be fantastic, but unless you get trackside grandstand tickets forget it as you will see fook all. Kim and I went 2 years ago and could only catch a glimpse of a car with binoculars or camera with long zoom. Thank God it was the last year of the V8's so we could hear them!!!! I am going to go with Kim on our own tour one year taking in the passes etc finishing in Monaco, but when it is not Grand Prix time as I want to drive topless through the tunnel and round Lowes Hairpin!! I'm sure we could do that for less than £7k Good luck to those with enough spare cash to go though, I would be a little green, but we've got 3 - 4 years of University to pay for!!
kieranexige Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I drove last summer.... Down through France, reims, into Switzerland, back into France, Annecy, chamonix, mont blonc into Italy San remo, Turin. Then down the Rivera, cannes, drove the gp track in Monaco, St tropez all the way down to Barcelona and onto Valencia. Back up the west coast of France, to le man's, then back home.

Was it ok out of the garage for such a period of time?
kieranexige Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 In the Exige? Was it ok out of the garage for such a period of time? Crikey me no...... I did find an awesome set of roads near St tropez that I said I must do in the exige at some point.
Foggy Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I have been to Bayeux a few times in the BMW, want to persuade Kim to go next time in the Lotus, great roads and very few cars around Normandy, plus our friend Marc who owns the bar we go to loves cars and is desparate to see it. That was one hell of a drive Kieran, thats my kind of holiday!
