It was a great day on Sunday. New course record 23 seconds (0-60 1.3secs) Two seater motortrike front two wheels driven!!! Sprint motor bikes. Sprint six wheeled go carts.......strange but very quick. Even a S1 Elise had a go (not quite in the same league as the big boys ) Some amazing machinery including the new DB9, Ferraris etc. The car park was well full of Loti. Paul Matty did a great job..... well done The aerobatics display by the Spitfire was awsome So who went didn't see many of you..... but may be just missed you in the crowds. If you didn't go you missed a great day (rather better than the Grand Prix I think) …

Who was it who said their girlfriend spotted an Elise with some big spoiler on the back? Well today on the M54 I saw on the opposite side of the Mway, stuck in traffic, a Silver Elise (S1, I think) with some high Max Power-a-like spoiler stapled to the back. Big thing, it was. Looked crap. Terrible....

Right latest is that EGG have got my witness statement and have said that the motorbike was was really speeding, could have been up to a ton! (not sure about that though!) Even now they're on about saying he was only 20% at fault! Just been on the phone to Walshy about a 1st Lotus Day and mentioned about the accident. He recons it's ridiculous that I'm being blamed and should contact the insurance ombudsman. Just wondering whether this was a good idea or not as I don't like the idea of pi**ing off EGG and them dropping me in the s*it or something! The saga continues! (and no, I dont mean those holidays old people go on!)

Did a superb job on my Liz. Looks like new! And was even waxed (With autoglym!) and cleaned inside. Highly recommended - if damage the clams, keep all the pieces and they say they can fix it back up again...just look at Simons if you need proof of their work...

I'm due to go in September for a Stag Do. After watching tonight's programme, I think we should call it all off. NOT
