Hello, who is the go to lotus engine specialist in the midlands please?

The VHPD engine in my 340r is running rough, may have only skipped a tooth but local dealer didn’t manage to improve things.

Gav at Unit 4 in Burton.

If you're having the cambelt off, probably worth doing vernier cams and get the timing perfect rather than 'Lotus'.

Just to clarify, both are in Burton, both have a Unit 4 address, but they're different people !

Both well recommended.  I said Gav as I've used him before, but PJS has an equally good reputation.

Bit further but Rob at Ratrace / Protune is tremendous. Especially for VHPD K Series. 
 

His skills are matched by his honesty.  3 years later he still checks in on my/his 😁 engine almost every 2 weeks. Can’t recommend him enough.

To add to my earlier post, if you're looking for an engine builder rather than a Lotus specialist garage, I can recommend Toovey Race Engines in Cannock:

They have built two Pinto race engines for me - their attention to detail is excellent, great people and prices are good, too. They have a dyno on site so can run/test the engine for you before it goes back into your car.
