Sill repair

Can anyone recommend someone to repair the nice hole I put in my sill when the car slipped off the jack? 

Close ish to Lichfield would be great. 

I tried Option1 but they quoted £900 which is way OTT.

We've all done it at some point! (well I have anyway!)

I don't know anyone local but I got mine fixed for less than half that so you should beable to find somewhere cheaper.

Thanks, I didn’t know they had a bodyshop, I’ll give them a bell but I suspect they’ll be expensive given the quote I had for gearcables.

I’ve got away with it for 13 years so had to happen sooner or later!

I don't think PJS have a bodyshop.  Try edmonds auto refinishing at Burton - they painted my car and made a very nice job.

They may not be expensive if you get a quote.

I've not used them (yet) but I went to see Chase Automotive (http://www.chaseautomotive.co.uk/) the other week - I'm popping back to get mine booked in, seemed like decent guys, they were recommended by my VW Specialist....they do fibreglass repair (although I only have a small split to repair, it's mainly just painting).

As I say, not used them yet, but price was reasonable.

AutoTech by Beacon Park in Lichfield. They've painted and repaired my S2 various times. Doesn't look much but it's good value and they're nice people.

So far I’ve had prices ranging from £250 to 900! 

Think i’ll Be going with seloc favourite, StephenM (SVR) who was at the low end of the price range and he has masses of Lotus experience.
