  1. Door waist seals - any interest?

We’ve found a supplier, now waiting for tooling quotes etc.
  2. Garage to Service 111R

The VX has been there too long! ? Just waiting for the rack to come back from Titan ...Gav is very patient.
  3. Garage to Service 111R

That’s what he does for me too
  4. Door waist seals - any interest?

    Thanks for checking. Anyone else?
  5. Garage to Service 111R

    PS. It was Spa

If you don’t go on track you are missing a real treat, the Evora is amazing! It is addictive though Early Evora’s had a crap gear cable design (well, not just the early ones ) Here’s my thread on TLF https://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/topic/91073-launch-edition-new-gear-cables-fitted/ But there’s loads of other info there: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=evora+gear+cable+upgrade+site:www.thelotusforums.com&rlz=1C9BKJA_enGB701GB701&hl=en-GB&prmd=sniv&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjD1seH683ZAhVBmbQKHeFKCusQrQIoBDADegQIABAI&biw=1024&bih=748
  7. Garage to Service 111R

He did get all the rubber off though...I wasn’t looking forward to that job
  8. Garage to Service 111R

Vote for Gav at Unit 4 here. Wish I’d found him sooner! He did the gear cable upgrade on my S1 Evora - about half the price of PJS and a third of Silverstone’s (who both have very good reputations). I would be happy for him to do any job on my Evora. He also does my supercharged VX220. Highly recommended. Now, let’s convince him to get some corner weight scales
  9. Door waist seals - any interest?

We’re currently at the ‘in principle’ stage having had discussions with a manufacturer who said they can do it, but we need a sample for them to chop up and reverse engineer. As you say it’s a significant investment- well into 5 figures, but based on initial estimates it’s doable. They’ll be quite a bit more than £50 each though...but less than £100...I hope! I’m assuming people will be happy with a price in that range given the stainless internals...
  10. Door waist seals - any interest?

Thanks, that would be a great help.
  11. I'm looking in to getting door waist seals made up (S2/S3). These new ones will have stainless steel 'inners' so won't corrode like the standard ones (if you can find them!). Does anyone have any old seals that we can use for evaluation and chopping apart?
  12. Sill repair

So far I’ve had prices ranging from £250 to 900! Think i’ll Be going with seloc favourite, StephenM (SVR) who was at the low end of the price range and he has masses of Lotus experience.
  13. Sill repair

Thanks Jonny, I’ll give them a go too.
  14. Sill repair

Thanks! I’ve sent them an FB message
  15. Sill repair

    I’ll report back, ta.
