Had my Elise dipped matte Orange! plus other extra's also

Hi guys.

 

Not been on for a while.. good to see many of you this past weekend! As per title, I've had my car dipped matte orange, as well as had a spoiler fittted, canards, carbon fibre spoiler etc. 

 

I quite like it!

Not sure I'd sit on it like that though, more likely to be upside down with head stuck in the footwell.

I think that looks great, can you explain what a 'dipped' procedure involves?, is it different to being 'wrapped'?

Looks good, assume you've used plastidip paint?

Did you see the Europa at LITP that had been wrapped (at least I guess it must be a wrap!) in a brushed copper effect? It was a good quality job (I couldn't spot any joints) and it looked amazing

Yeah you will have! A lot of my family live there, plus I teach guitar at Hunloke primary! 

 

Yeah it's plastidip, to be honest I don't really know the ins and outs but the results are solid!

mmm......plastidip.......

thats a spray on finish that you can peel off like a rubber skin............

you'll have to let us know what its like to live with as Id like to know what happens if it chips/tears/gets a hole in it basically....

and also what its like to wash.........

You parked behind mine at Keddleston. I thought it had been wrapped, looks good up close too
