Yay! Coming Back To The Fold

Hooray!! And then some. After several years of Nissan-ness (which frankly, sure ain't Lotus-ness) and being Lotus-less, I'm coming back to the fold!! If you've noticed this thread, you'll see I've been stalking a red S4 Esprit - a press car with an interesting provenance, but a magical drive. Well, the deal is done, and it will be mine, barring disasters.

 

At last, I will no longer be an interloper. Until I was one, I never imagined I could be the owner of a car like an Elise, but the Esprit was the car I would have had on my wall as a kid, had I had cars on my wall. I never dreamed I could own one. But now I will! And oh boy, do I have the Lotus grin back. It will probably take a couple of weeks for them to do the stuff to it that needs doing before I'll take it. So the clock is ticking. And my heartbeat is racing.

Looking forwards to halving the cost of running my car. Really!
