russelld Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Back at Unit 4 today. Took a bit longer than expected as Russell came along and kidnapped Gav for about 20 mins! Sorry about that Leigh and thanks Gav for your time. See you in the winter for box out surgery !! Quote
Dr H Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Sorry about that Leigh and thanks Gav for your time. See you in the winter for box out surgery !! No worries Russell, all sorted and got to MOT on time Quote
tricky12 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Can totally recommend, did a great job fixing power steering leak and replacing gearbox drive shaft oil seals on my V8 Esprit Quote
smithpaulg Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Thanks to Gav, I now have shiny new braided brake hoses ! Top job! Quote
Dr H Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Thanks to Gav, I now have shiny new braided brake hoses ! Top job! Has he finished mine yet??? Quote
smithpaulg Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Has he finished mine yet??? Afraid not, looked like it was in lots of bits to me! Front clam off, engine in a state of undress, centre console out. Extra brake calipers on the rear! Quote
Dr H Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Yeah, called him today. The problem is I said 'don't rush just do it whenever you can fit it in', and he's been busy! . Can't argue though I've been drip feeding him parts and he puts up with my borderline OCD. In fact it think it's catching. When he put the inlet manifold and supercharger back together he cleaned the brass on the air intake temp sender to make it shiny before he refitted it! Gav if you're reading this - carry on being obsessive, you know it makes sense - to me anyway ..... Quote
dobbo Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Another thumbs-up today. Took the car in last Friday afternoon for an urgent radiator swap. New rad/fans/heater matrix didn't arrive until Tuesday but the fan mounting kits were missing. They arrived yesterday and the car was ready this afternoon. Given that this was a clam-off job, drain coolant, refill, bleed, etc, plus other jobs on rear lights and trying to sort the fan switching, I think 4hrs labour is VERY reasonable. He even washed it ! Cheers Gav. Quote
DeanB Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Seconded! Gav was also in attendance on Sunday but he was sporting a beard so I didn't recognise him at first, I thought it was Maurice Gibb. Quote
