Stepping down from LitP

It's with a little sadness that I announce I am stepping down as the Organiser of 'Lotus in the Peak', I'm very proud that under my watch we raised over 30K for Rainbows Hospice a wonderful achievement and I thank all of you, It's been a Pleasure to see the enjoyment its brought many Lotus Owners, I hope the New team will live up to the Charity Example set and you all enjoy next year's Event.

I just have the presentation of the Cheque at Rainbows to finalise which will be in September

Thanks Ray for all your hard work and commitment to LITP over the years. You've some big driving shoes to fill for sure. I know there's a great team behind you but ultimately it's been down to you answering all the daft questions ( Guilty as charged on my 1st  LITP)😁. Great legacy bringing lots of Lotus people together enjoying the best roads in the peaks, lots of fun & lots of money raised  for Rainbows. Thanks Ray for all the miles of smiles.

Thank you so much for all your incredibly hard work Ray with LITP.  

I am only a relative newcomer but very much appreciate all the unseen things you have done for many years and what you and the rest of the people have created. 

Standing on the shoulders of giants comes to mind with what the team will be doing in continuing to make LITP the very special event it is and to further raise money for a very special cause.

Ray, you have been the lynch pin behind this event and have done an unbelievable amount of work to get the event going, year in and year out.  You should be immensely proud of the event and being the force behind the enjoy felt by all the people who have attended and created memories.

Lotus in the Peak has been a feature of my calendar for a relatively short period of time, but it’s now one of the first things that gets pencilled in as it’s such a special event.   I’ll add to the collective appreciation and pass on my thanks for all you have done Ray.   Great job  🫡👏🏻

Sad news my friend but totally understandable especially when there where challenging years like COVID and other years when you did not get the support you needed. 
Always been there with you from your first Tic run and many more after that i do hope you are still active within the group. I wish the new team all the best you will be a hard act to follow.

I remember that first run   it was interesting to say the least
